Modular Automation – Workpiece Disassembly

Using an array of modular automation compatible products by Oriental Motor to achieve work piece assembly and high throughput. In this video, we focus on module 4 of 5 to see how Oriental Motor products are used to perform workpiece disassembly operation. A MRC01 Robot Controller controls a parallel link robot to achieve high throughput takt time with its agile motion control. At the core of the robot are 30mm frame size harmonic geared type motors, adopted for higher precision, smaller size, and lighter weight. An EZS Series electric linear slide work in tandem with an AZ Series stepper motor to lift and rotate workpieces within a confined work footprint. A BMU Series brushless motor with its compact size contributes energy saving, stable speed, and smooth start/stop operations.
