Modular Automation – Workpiece Assembly + Press Fitting

Using an array of modular automation compatible products by Oriental Motor to achieve work piece assembly and high throughput. In this video, we focus on module 2 of 5 to see how Oriental Motor products are used to perform workpiece assembly and press fitting operation. The MRC01 Robot Controller is utilized to reduce programming man-hours through palletizing function while a series of EZS Series electric slides work together to form a high rigidity cantilever mechanism. Finally, a DRS2 Series compact electric cylinder press fits with precision and a EH Series electric gripper successfully grips objects in narrow spaces.
